The vice president membership is responsible for building membership and ensuring a strong membership base by satisfying the needs of all members. This job is vital to the growth and success of the club.
Outside the Club Meeting, the VP membership:

Attends district-sponsored club officer training.

Conducts ongoing membership building programs and efforts.

Follows up on and keeps track of guests, new members and members not attending meetings.

Explains the educational program to all prospective members, get their commitment to join and collect membership applications. Collect dues and fees and give them to the treasurer with the application.
At the Club Meeting, the VP membership:

Greets guests and has each complete a guest card.

Reports on current membership, promotes membership campaigns and welcomes new members.

Works with the president and vice president education to ensure each new member is formally inducted at the first meeting after being voted in by the club.

Helps guests wishing to join complete the membership applications.

Speaks with fellow members to determine if their needs are being met.
